Choose to Re-use!

Save money, save the environment

Bright Sparks started in Islington as a small electricals re-use and repair project in 2010. The project was an Islington council initiative to reduce the amount of small electrical items being thrown away.

The project has expanded over the years to include furniture provided by Islington council housing department, who clear empty properties, bric-a-brac and small electrical items and white goods for re-use.

As a not-for profit project, working to minimize waste and provide jobs for local people, we value our partnership with local authorities who share our goal.

As the project strives to deliver on  it's objectives we have continue to expand and work with other boroughs.  We now also provide re-use furniture collection service for Camden council and the London borough of Waltham Forest.

We now have a second shop in Waltham Forest located at Bakers Arms where local people can pick-up quality reusable items at affordable prices.
